Description

Correction: The award date of the basic Indefinite Quantity Contracts is December 19, 1997, as mentioned in block 15 of this notice. All also the solicitation description should read as: The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is increasing the overall sector ceiling for its current multiple award contracts (Energy I) with AEAI, Hagler Bailly and Nexant. This one-time sector ceiling increase for $5.25 million will be used for important follow-on activities, providing critical services to assist the countries of Moldova, Georgia and Mexico. This increase represents a 2.6% increase of the existing sector ceiling for these contracts. The Agency is currently involved in the pre-solicitation phase of its new multiple award IQCs (Energy II) in the energy and environment sectors, as advertised in the April 20, 2001 issue of the Commerce Business Daily. USAID intends to award not more than three (3) awards based upon full-and-open competition and one (1) award under the U.S. Small Business Administration 8(a) program. The Energy II RFP will be awarded in FY02. Follow-on activities will take place in Moldova, Georgia and Mexico.
