Description

Notice of availability of a prospectus for the award of a concessions contract authorizing the sale of a retail merchandise in one building within Colonial National Historical Park, Yorktown, Virginia, for a period of ten years. Retail operations are conducted within the Burcher Cottage for 12 months a year. All equipment and furnishings needed to operate shall be provided by the concessioner. An offer shall submit a single offer on the building. The approximate number of visitors to the Yorktown Visitor Center during the summer was 124,000. Annual gross receipts for 1999 were $146,652.98. The Director, pursant to 36 CFR, Part 51 has determined that this is a qualified concession contract. This new concessions contract is a qualified concession contract based on the fact that the business is estimated to result in annual gross receipts of less than $500,00 in the first 12 months of its term. All parties may apply and all responsive proposals will be concidered. Offers are due October 31, 2001.
