Description

The US Dept of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, is planning to negotiate a sole source contract with Modular Packaging Systems Inc to provide an upgrade to it's Automatic Packaging System for repackaging tablets/capsules for the VA Medical Center, CMOP, Hines IL. This system will consist of a pneumatically operated portable "reversible" drive hand capper; automatic "micro-mini compact orientainer plastic bottle unscrambler; vibratory tablet counting machine, dust collector, wrap labeling system, rotary accumulating table and stainless steel sanitary conveyor. This is considered to be a sole source because it has to integrate with an existing system purchased from Modular Packaging Systems Inc in 1997. Other sources that believe they can meet VA needs must furnish product information and references to this office by no later than 4:30 pm on August 31, 2001.
