Description

A non-competitive 3 year IDIQ negotiation is proposed with L-3 Communications because this procurement is confined to the contractor's part numbers referred to and must be compatible in form, fit and function with existing equipment. The following items are part of the I-Rembass unattended ground sensor system. Kit Seismic Acoustic (KSA), NSN:6350-01-477-7680,Qty 1-500; Kit Infrared Plug In (KIP), NSN:6350-01-477-7685,Qty 1-150; Kit, Magnetic Plug In (KMP), NSN:6350-01-477-7756, Qty 1-150; Motion Detector, Seismic/Acoustic(S/A), NSN:6350-01-474-2357, Qty 1-600; Motion Detector, Infrared(IR), NSN:6350-01-474-2359, Qty 1-75; Motion Detector, Magnetic(MAG),NSN:6350-01-474-2360, Qty 1-17; Whip Antenna, NSN:5985-01-481-8364, Qty 1-600; Microphone/Geophone Element, NSN:5965-01-481-8568, Qty 1-600. The Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient, accurate or legible data to purchase this part from other than the current source. However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
