Description

The intent of the VA North Texas Health Care System (VANTHCS) Contracting Activity is to award a firm fixed price service contract for maintenance and repair to the Four Repeater Smartnet Trunked Radio System manufactured by Motorola. All fixed equipment will be repaired on site and will have a (24) hour restoral. All mobile equipment will be repaired through depot repair and will not have a (24) hour restoral. The following equipment require on site service: System Controller (28 channel capable, 7 channel equipped), System Monitor, Central Electronics Bank Server, Dispatcher Controller System (3 card), Four Quantar Repeater, Dispatch Console, Two Spectra Consollettes. The mobile equipment consist of Three Astro Spectra Mobile Radios, (147) Mdl. # MTS I handheld Radios and (5) Mdl. # MTS III handheld Radios. Contractor will be responsible for all components in the system. Contractors who believe they can provide this service are invited to submit, in writing, documentation of their capability. This information will be used to evaluate and determine competitiveness. If no requests for solicitation are received, the VANTHCS will proceed with negotiations for a sole source award with Motorola, Inc.
