Description

This procurement is for a Long Term Indefinite Quantity contract to procure 153 NSNs for code and part numbered items that are for impellers, rings, cleeves, plates and other related pump equipment spare parts. The stock classes involved are 4320, 4730, 2010, 3040, 3010, 4820 and 4940. The items indetified have various estimated annual demands. These demands will primarily support the stock replenishment system with secondary support for direct vendor delivery (DVD), or, for foreign military sales (FMS). Eighteen of the items are set aside for small business participation only, while the remaining 135 items are being solicited on an unrestricted basis. This solicitation is an RFP or IFB and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/Rfp on its issue date of 27 September 2001. The Small business size standard is 500 employees. The set-aside portion applies to 18 identified NSNs only. See the solicitationfor the items being solicited on an unrestricted basis. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available.The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. A portion of this acquisition is unrestricted and applies to a particular designated number of items. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upona combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
