Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-01-Q-0310 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract is set-aside for small business concerns. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-22 and DCN 20001213. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333315. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 1 each Photron Fastcam-Ultima 1024 Model 4000 high speed video camera system. This monochrome Ultima 1024 system is capable of recording up to 4,000 frames per second and includes a processor with 512MB of memory, camera head with 4m (16.4ft) cable, remote control keypad with back-lit LCD window, PC Control software, and an operator's manual. MEC Accessory Pak V (HARDCASES FOR 1024 & accessories) Fastcam-Ultima 1024 Memory Upgrade (2 upgrades max), Video-Beam Opto/Accustic triggering system, heavy duty mobile computer workstation and APC Back-ups Pro 1000. Delivery is required F.O.B. Crane, IN 47522 within 30 days after award. Final inspection will be at NSWC Crane, IN. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. To be eligible for award you must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
