Description

This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source contract with Stevens Aviation, Inc., Greenville, SC to furnish and install Hartzell/Raisbeck Quiet Turbofan propellers (STS SA2698NM-S) in accordance with the Supplemental Type Certificate instructions and Raisbeck Engineering Drawing List 85-1500 or FAA-approved revisions on a Beechcraft SKA 200/C-12C Super King Air airplane. Additionally the contractor is to provide two completes of performance charts applicable to this modification and one set of drawings of each of the Modifications. Offerors who can furnish the required services, may submit, in writing, a proposal substantiated by technical information and Past Performance indicating capability to perform this task and satisfactory performance on similar projects. Location of the contractor's facility and total pricing must be provided. The Contractor should provide documentation indicating that they are an approved FAA maintenance/repair facility on this type aircraft. All responses must be received within not later than 11 September 2001. All responses from responsible sources submitting the required information will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent. A request for solicitation will not be considered and an adequate response to the synopsis, but, if a solicitation is issued a copy will be provided to such requestor. No contract award will be made on the basis of any responses to this notice.*****
