Description

The work includes repair, preparation, prime and painting of approximately 10 ft. tall by 4 ft wide, double swing type, plate steel doors with channel jambs in the Magazine area at Naval Station Mayport. There are a total of 12 pair of doors. Specific repairs are listed in the solicitation package. Contractors will also be required to stencil the outside of doors with specific notices as stated in the statement of work. This is an unrestricted procurement. The NAIC is 235210 with a size standard of $11.5 million. No questions over the telephone will be accepted. All questions must be in writing and faxed to 904-270-7202 or e-mailed to huntervl@efdsouth.navfac.navy.mil to the attention of Vickie Hunter. Any questions must be received by the Contracting Office by close of business on September 14. A site visit will be conducted on 13 September 2001, at 9:30 am. All interested contractors must contact Mr. Conrad Mueller to register to attend the site visit. Contractors should allow at least 1 hours to get a pass onto the Naval Station. The Pass and ID Office will require a copy of the solicitation, current drivers license, proof of insurance, and registration. The site visit will start promptly at 9:30. All interested parties meet at building 1538.
