Description

The United States Air Force is requesting quotations for the furnishing of all labor, materials as required, travel, equipment, and services and performing all operations required for the scope of this project includes reconfiguration/replacement of existing light pole heads with higher wattage lamps or additional poles and lamps so that each field meets 20 foot-candles in the infield and 15 foot-candles in the outfield. Upgrade of associated breaker panels, and additional lighting timer controls on each field. A lighting engineering survey may be performed at the start of work and is required at completion and prior to acceptance of the work. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The period of performance for this project will be 30 calendar days. The solicitation for this project will ONLY be available at Internet address://www.herbb.hanscom.af.mil All interested parties MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database in order to receive a solicitation or award. Applications for CCR registration may be obtained or completed at the Internet address: http://www.ccr2000.com Tentatively, the RFQ will be released on or about 3 September 2001. Quotations can be mailed to: ESC/PKOC, Attn: Leonardo S. Layon, 20 Schilling Circle, Bldg 1305, 3rd FL, Hanscom AFB, MA 01731-2800. Quotations sent via Federal Express, UPS, or hand-carried, etc., shall be mailed to the same address. RFQ may be faxed to (781) 377-4324. The site visit is tentatively scheduled for on or about 7 September 2001. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after receipt of quotations, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government. Offerors are advised that the cost of any response is at the offeror's own risk. See Note 26.
