Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to award multiple indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts for the acquisition of information technology resources Department wide. This requirement includes both lease and purchase options for equipment. This contract will be a follow-on contract to the current Procurement of Computer Hardware and Software (PCHS) Contracts. Dissemination of the solicitation package shall be by electronic means only. The solicitation documents for this requirement are in Microsoft Word 2000 and Microsoft Excel 2000 format and can be found for download at WEBSITE-ADDRESS. No hard copies of the solicitation will be provided. It is the policy of the Government and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to provide maximum practicable contracting and subcontracting opportunities in its acquisitions to Small Business (SB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB, including SBA 8(a) firms), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), Historically Underutilized Business (HUBZone) Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SCDAV), and Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) concerns. While this opportunity does not contain a set-aside for small businesses, preference, as described in the solicitation documents, will be given to those firms which provide the greatest opportunities for participation by these firms.
