Description

Provide all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials for the packing, unpacking, containerization, drayage and storage of household goods and personal for military members and civilian employees at Fort Hood, Texas. The requireme nts consist of outbound and inbound household goods, outbound and inbound unaccompanied baggage, intra-city and intra-area movement. Services to be performed under Schedule I and II will encompass the following counties: Bell, Burnet, Bosque, Brown, Comm anche, Coryell, Falls, Hamilton, Hill, Lampasas, Llano, Limestone, McCulloch, McLennan, Mason, Mills, and San Saba. Schedule III will be for nonregulated moves only within the counties of Bell and Coryell, to include Fort Hood, Texas. Schedule IV will be for regulated moves only within the counties of Bell and Coryell, to include moves within/to/from Burnet, Bosque, Brown, Commanche, Falls, Hamilton, Hill, Lampasas, Llano, Limestone, McCulloch, McLennan, Mason, Mills and San Saba Counties to include moves to and from Fort Hood, Texas. Quantities stated in the solicitation are estimated. This action will be conducted as a commercial service acquisition in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 15. This procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses. The s olicitation action will be a request for proposal. The resultant contract will be a Firm Fixed Price Requirements Contract with a base year beginning 1 January 2002 through 31 December 2002, with four (4) one-year option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 488991. The small business size standard is $18.5 million. The solicitation will be post through the Internet on or after 12 September 2001 with an anticipated closing date of 11 October 2001.
