*****ATTENTION*****ALL FORMAL REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION SHOULD BE FAXED OR MAILED TO: ATTN: AMSAM-AC-LS-H, Vivian Jennings, Contract Specialist, 256-842-6525 FAX 256-955-7737. System: HAWK, PRON: D1193084, Nomenclature: Compressor, Reciprocating, NSN: 4310-00-167-8970, and P/N: 10064515, to be procured under a multiple year, requirements contract. The current known quantity for this item is (5) five each. Thi s acquisition covers potential requirements for a base year and (5) five out years, for a total of five years of contract coverage. Orders will be issues one or more times as requirements materialize for a total potential maximum quantity of 55. The clos ing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Destination to be furnished. Delivery schedule, 100 days after co ntract award. Offerors must be approved and qualified. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. The Government does not possess sufficient documentation to acquire this item from other than the qualified sources. A technical data package, which defines all engineering and quality requirements are not available. This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate wit h only one, or a limited number of sources.
