Description

The Export-Import Bank of the US intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, West Group, Inc. un der the authority of FAR 6.302-1 for the renewal of online (web and software) access. Access will include US Fede ral, civil, and state statutory laws, regulations, case opinions, administrative guidance, legislative materials, law reviews, treatises and other reference material. This will also include passwords, full training, search adv ice, and technical support. West Group currently provides extensive and unique searching and validation tools cro ss references, and topical indexing and classification not matched by other systems. Service will cover the perio d of 1 October 2001 through 30 September 2002. This acquisition is under NAICS 51421. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This is a sole source requirement and if no affirmative written responses are received that a comparabl e source is available, a sole source will be negotiated. Responses must be received, in writing, within fifteen ( 15) calendar days of publication of this notice. Interested parties shall submit sufficient descriptive literatur e with their response to prove their capability to respond to the requirements of this notice. Responses must be in writing. NO TELEPHONE OR FAX RESPONSES WILL BE ACCEPTED. This acquisition is being conducted under the guideli nes as set forth in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).
