Description

The General Services Administration intends to issue a contract to Microsoft under the authority of FAR 6.3 02-1 through solicitation number 6TSA-01-JMT-0215. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clau ses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-14. Only one responsible source and no oth er supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is for proprietary source codes for su pport services for the Department of State, IRM/OPS/MSO/EML, in Washington DC. The proposed contract action is f or supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under auth ority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received by close of business, 8/29/2001 will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
