Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 1 2.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (2) The solicitation number is N00600-01-Q-6962. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (3) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The NAICS Code is 332995 and the FSC Code is 1095. (4) SCHEDULE ITEMS. CLIN 0001. CAP-STUN OC product, unde rcover, pocket size, Model Z-205, NSN: 1365014449544, quantity 731 each. CLIN 0002. CAP-STUN H-205L black hols ter with belt clip and key ring, NSN: 1365014449010, quantity 731 each. (5) DELIVERY is to be FOB Destination. There are (58) multiple ship to addresses, Conus and Oconus. (6) INSTRUCTIONS. FAR 52.212-1 is incorporated by r eference and applies to this acquisition. (7) EVALUATION. FAR 52.212-2 is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. The following factors will be used to evaluate offerors: price and delivery. Factor 1 and Factor 2 are of approximately equal importan ce. (8) CERTIICATIONS. Offerors [Quoters] shall include a completed copy of all the certifications in FAR 52.212- 3 and DFARS 252.212-7000 with its quote. (9) FAR 52.212-4 is incorporated by reference and applies to this solicitation and resulting contract. (10) FAR 52.212-5 is incorporated by reference and appl ies to this solicitation and resulting contract. Only FAR 52.212-5 paragraphs (a), (b)(3), (b)(6), (b)(7), (b)(8) , (b)(9), and (e) apply. DFARS 252.212-7001 incorporates by reference the following DFARS clauses: 252.225-7001, 252.225-7012, 252.225-7036. (11) Additional Contract Terms and Conditions and Solicitation Provisions: The following clauses or provisions are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.204-6 Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) Number, 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration. The following clauses are incorporated by f ull text: STANDARD COMMERCIAL WARRANTY. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of any st andard commercial warranty normally offered in a similar commercial sale, provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. Acceptance of the standard commercial warranty does not waive the Governmen t's rights under the "Inspection" clause nor does it limit the Government's rights with regard to the other terms and conditions of this contract. In the event of a conflict, t he terms and conditions of the contract shall take precedence over the standard commercial warranty. The standard commercial warranty period shall begin upon final acceptance of the applicable material and/or services listed i n the Schedule.
