Description

Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to replace the existing roof, install new roof insulation, install new metal fascia and demolition of steeple to increase height on Building No. 88, Chapel, at the St. Cloud VA Medical Center. Work to consist of demolition of existing mineral fiber board underlayment, roofing paper, roofing shingles, aluminum metal gravel stops, aluminum fascia, aluminum gutters and drip edges. Contractor is then to install complete new roof system, consisting of new roof insulation, ice and water stop material, roofing felt, new shingles, new metal fascia, metal flashing and wood insulation stops at the perimeter of roof. All work is to be done in strict accordance with the contract specifications and drawings. Solicitation packages will be issued on September 5, 2001. A Pre-Bid Meeting/walkthrough will be held on September 18, 2001 at 1:00PM (local time), attendance is not mandatory, but is strongly encouraged. There is no bid deposit. Bids will be opened on October 4, 2001 at 2:00PM (local time). The cost range is $25,000 to $100,000. All requests for this solicitation MUST be in writing, and must be on company letterhead, and can be faxed to the attention of Melanie Stockman at fax number (320) 255-6341. All requests must include name, address, telephone number, contact person and solicitation number. Telephone requests will NOT be honored. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered. Award is subject to the availability of funds.
