Description

Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies and equipment for stabilizing the frame structure and stone footings of a Historic Corn Crib barn at Best Farm, Monocacy National Battlefield Park, Frederick, MD. Work includes, but not limited to, repair/replace existing framing components, including sills, support post, girts, rafters, ties, angle braces, floor beams, gable framing, rake boards, siding, doors, and stone piers. Due to the historic significance of the structure, all prospective bidders must have prior restoration experience and must submit references for past projets involving historic restoration. The solicitation package is tenatively scheduled for release on or about September 6, 2001.
