Description

The VA has a requirement for a firm to perform the following services. NACIS Codes 233210; 233220 and 233320 apply. The Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama is requesting bids for a multi-discipline (patching of interior walls; painting of interior walls, doors, door frames; selective exterior painting; installation of vinyl wall coverings; removal and installation of suspended ceilings; and removal and installation of resilient flooring and carpet with cove base), multiple-year maintenance, repair and miscellaneous construction task order contract. Task orders may be issued for a period of one (1) calendar year from date of award, with four one-year option renewals. The guaranteed minimum for the base year as well as each option year is $20,000. The contract cumulative ceiling for the base year, including all awarded options years is $100,000.00. Individual task orders will be a minimum of $2,500.00 and may not exceed a maximum of $50,000.00, within the base or any option year. All work will be performed in accordance with the contents of each negotiated task order and the terms and conditions of the master contract. This procurement is subject to the availability of funds. Estimated bid opening date is September 26, 2001. A pre-bid conference is tentatively scheduled for September 12, 2001 at 1:30PM.
