Description

The Federal Correctional Institution (FCI-Florence), located at 5880 State Highway 67 South, Florence, CO, 81226, intends to award a contract for a Culinary Arts, vocational training, certificate program for federal prisoners. This requirement is advertised as full and open competition. Instructional sessions will be conducted at the satellite Federal Prison Camp (FPC-Florence) which is located adjacent to the FCI. The awardee (and all instructors) must be a recognized accredited education provider as determined by the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges, Colorado Community College and Occupational Education System, or other recognized accrediting agencies. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 611519, with a small business size standard of $5.0 million. Services will be provided to (male) federal inmates, inside a prison with a security designation of MINIMUM. The contract will be awarded with one base-year, with four option years. The Government has unilateral authority to exercise each of four option years. Total contract life is five years, if all option years are exercised by the Government. The estimated annual quantity of sessions is two-hundred and fifty (250). Otherwise stated as one, three and one-half hour session per day, Monday through Friday, for fifty-two weeks, less ten Federal Holidays. Anticipated award date of contract is November 19, 2001.
