Description

Provide all management, supervisory, certified applicators, and administrative personnel necessary to provide Pest Control and Management Services at Fort Benning, Georgia and Family Housing, Dahlonega, Georgia. Applicators shall be state certified and licensed by the Georgia Department of Agriculture in the following categories: (24) Ornamental and Turf Pest Control, (29) Household Pest (30) Wood Destroying Organisms. Services will be acquired by Two-Step Sealed Bid procedures under the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 14.501. During Step One, the solicitation will include instructions for submission of technical proposals and a revised performance work statement. Period of performance is one base year with three one-year option periods. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed-price requirements type. A bid schedule will be included in the solicitation but prices are not to be provided with the technical proposals in Step One. Only those bidders who submit an acceptable technical proposal under Step One will be permitted to participate in Step Two of the process. During Step Two, the solicitation will specify a date and time by which bid prices must be received. A contract will be awarded on the basis of low prices technically acceptable (LPTA). Amendment No. 0002 has been issued and the date and time for receipt of technical proposal (Step-One) is extended until 21 Sept 2001.
