Description

On October 24-25, 2001, AFCEA International will host its annual Fall Intelligence Symposium at the Defense Intelligence Analysis Center (DIAC), on Bolling AFB, Washington, DC. The symposium's four sessions will focus on the connection between Intelligence and U.S. national strategy. The first session will review recent studies that have focused on the state of the Community. Session two will spotlight new prerequisites for gathering and creating intelligence. The third session will highlight new requirements and technologies for analysis and sharing. The final session will add Congressional, industry and budgetary perspectives. Special featured speakers include Vice Admiral Thomas R. Wilson, USN, Director, Defense Intelligence Agency; Lt Gen James R. Clapper, USAF (Ret.), Director (incoming), National Imagery and Mapping Agency; and Mr. Richard L. Haver, Special Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Intelligence.
