U S Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center, White Sands Contracting Division, White Sands Missile Range solicits quotations for purchase of: Software License Maintenance: PV Wave Foundation & Visual Exploration (WSMR) Floating License UNIX or Linux Platform, 132 each; PV Wave Foundation & Visual Exploration (Fort Benning) Floating License UNIX or Linux Platform, 10 each; PV Wave Foundation & Visual Exploration (Fort Huachuca) Floating License UNIX or Linux Platform, 10 each; PV Wave Foundation & Visual Exploration (Fort Hood) Floating License UNIX or Linux Platform, 10 each; PV Wave Advantage (WSMR) Floating License UNIXC or Linux Platform, 1 each; JWAVE (WSMR)Floating License UNIX or Linux Platform, 1 each. Manufacturer of this items is Visual Numerics. Performance Period will be from 16 September 2001 through 15 September 2002. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation using FAR Part 12, Commercial items, for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W80AOC-1213-0503. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and closes on 07 September 2001 at 4:00 PM Mountain Time. Award should be 2 to 4 days after closing of Synopsis. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-17. FOB is Destination White Sands Missile Range, NM. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition and there are no addendum to the provision. Offeror must include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Item with his offer. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial items applies to this acquisition and there are no addendum to this clause. Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, Clause 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity, Clause 52.222-35 Affirmative Action for Special Disabled and Vietnam ERA Veterans, Clause 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers, Clause 52.222-37 Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans & Veterans of the Vietnam Era applies to this acquisition and there are no addendum's to these clauses. **All responsible sources must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), prior to award** 252.204-7004 -- Required Central Contractor Registration (Mar 1998), and 252.212-7001 -- Contract Terms and Conditions Required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items (Jan 1999) and 252-225-7001 -- Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program (41 U.S.C 10 E.O. 10582). Vendors that have bona fide interest must also present clear and convincing evidence of their capability to provide this requirement in writing within 7 days after the date of publication of this synopsis.
