- Description
- Evaluation and Analysis of Medical Gas Systems and Internal Environmental Conditions -- Solicitation DADA10-01-R-0036. This modification is issued to replace previous CBD announcement issued 20 June 2001 in its entirety. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and other items necessary to perform testing, certification, evaluation, surveys, installation, commissioning, and analysis of medical gas systems and interior environmental conditions at medical health care facilities located on U.S. military installations in the continental United States, Hawaii, Alaska, and OCONUS. The contractor must also be able to develop, evaluate, and perform maintenance, inspection, installation and user training programs. The purpose of these services is to determine if the systems are operating and/or have been installed within the design parameters and the standards for quality of service specified in the NFPA 99, JCAHO standards, and the Military Handbook 1191, Medical Military Facilities Design and Construction Criteria. Professional Qualifications: The selected firm must have a Registered Professional Mechanical Engineer with at least 10 years experience in medical gas design and/or construction for healthcare facilities in the United States. This will be an fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract. This requirement will be a 100 percent Hub-zone set-aside. The period of performance will be from 6 December 2001 through 30 September 2002 with four 1-year options. The solicitation will be issued on or about 5 September 2001. Offers will be due on or about 5 October 2001. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the agency. All requests for solicitation must be in writing on company letterhead. Include in request your name, address, telephone and fax numbers, size of business, DUN and Bradstreet number, and solicitation number. The request should be received in this office no later than 15 days from the date this notice is published. The cost of each solicitation package will be $10.00 per set. A certified check or money order shall be made payable to the U.S. Treasury and must be included with request. This fee is non-refundable.
