- The U.S. Coast Guard intends to negotiate, and award a sole-source Simplified Acquisition to SAFE Boats International 8800 Barney White Rd. Port Orchard, WA 98367, for the following optional open market equipment to be installed during the manufacturing process of a SAFE Boat ordered under GSA contract. 1) Life Ring Holders 2) Aft Locker upgrade 3) Double Keel beaching shoe 4) Radar/Flood light/Strobe Mount 5) Upgraded Deadrise 6) upgraded windshield wipers &washers 7) Diesel Heater 8) Pneumatic suspension seats 9) Outboard Bracket 10) Side Plate cut outs (port and stbd) 11) Custom Door Package (sides sliding aft and hinged aft) 12) Foam Hull 13) Insolated Cabin 14) Cabin Fans 15) Custom U-shaped forward Lockers 16) Upgraded 8500LB trailer with custom bow stop 17) Install customer supplied motors 18) Install cutomer supplied VHF radio and antenna 19) Install customer supplied radar and dome 20) Install customer supplied hailer and speaker 21) Install customer supplied strobe lights 22) Install customer supplied depth sound(thru-hull). If no responses are received by close of business 28 August, with sufficient information to determine that another responsible source is available, negotiations will be conducted with SAFE Boats International. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. The applicable NAICS code is 336612 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The following notice is for informational purposes: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term lending program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
