Description

The purpose of this modification is to provide clarification to the synopsis posted to the Commerce Business Daily on 31 July 2001 (Solicitation Number N68936-01-R-0113). The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD,) acting as an agent for Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), intends to competitively procure the design, build and ground test of an active Ka-band radar seeker employing a Micro-Electromechanical System (MEMS) based Electronic Scanning Array (ESA) Antenna. The solicitation was released on 21 August 2001 and will be available through the NAWCWD 2.0 Contract Competency home page. The NAWCWD 2.0 Contract Competency home page address has changed to: http://www.nawcwpns.navy.mil/~contract/rfp-nawc.htm. All amendments to the solicitation will be available through the above NAWCWD Contracts Competency home page at the same site sited above. Some portions of the solicitation are not available through the Contract Competency home page due to technical data whose distribution is limited to Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. DoD Contractors only, Critical Technology 14 July 1999. It is the offeror's responsibility to contact the Government Representative cited in the solicitation in order to obtain a copy of those portions of the solicitation that are unavailable electronically. The solicitation will close at 1630 on 05 October 2001.
