Description
Provide all services, materials, supplies, facilities, supervision, labor, and equipment, except those specified as Government-furnished to perform public works functions at Fort Hood, Texas under Solicitation DAKF48-99-R-0008, to include transition from i n-house to contractor operation, as appropriate. The main functional areas included in this A-76 Cost Study are Production Services and Facility and Infrastructure Support. Production Services include: Work Reception and Management, Administration, Operati on of the Hazmart, Procurement Activities and Contractor Programs. Facility and Infrastructure Support includes: Continuous Operation of Critical Systems, Facility Structural Maintenance, Repair and Alteration, and Infrastructure Maintenance. Facility St ructural Maintenance, Repair and Alteration includes: Carpentry, Structural Painting, Interior Electrical, Plumbing and Pipefitting, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Refrigeration, Utility Control System (UCS), Kitchen Equipment Mainten ance and Repair, Boiler Operation and Maintenance, Centrifugal Chiller Systems Operation and Maintenance, and Steam, Hot Water and Chill Water Distribution. Infrastructure Maintenance, Repair and Alteration includes: Exterior Lighting, Airfield and Helicop ter Pad Lighting, Lightning Protection, Security Lighting, Emergency Power Supply Systems and Deluge Pump Engines, Sign and Safety Marking Painting, Cathodic Protection System, Swimming Pool System Maintenance, Military Vehicle Wash Facilities, Fuels Syste m Maintenance, Masonry, Sheet Metal and Welding, Locksmith, Alarms, Improved Grounds Maintenance, Surfaced Area Maintenance and Repair, Maintenance and Service-Equipment (MSE) Repair. For each functional area, the Contractor will be required to operate th e Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS). All services will be performed in accordance with applicable regulations, manuals, technical documents and Standard Operating Procedures. If a contract results from the A-76 Cost Competition, it will be fixed price, with a Material Reimbursable line item, and a fixed price requirements line item for construction. The base year is anticipated to be 1 Oct 2002 through 30 September 2003, with four (4) one-year option periods. The Standard Industrial Cla ssification Code (SIC) code for this acquisition is 8744, with a size standard of $20,000,000. CBD numbered Note 26 applies to this acquisition.
