Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. The Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida/53 CSS/SCX intends to solicit, negotiate and award a Firm Fixed Price contract for Communication Equipment Hardware. This acquisition is prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Sub-Part Part 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Acquisition of Commercial Items, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written request for quotation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this announcement is F08651-01-T-0064. The requirement is as follows: 1 each Enterprise E420R, Part #A33-AA, (4) 450Mhz CPUs, Part # X1195A, 4GB Memory, Part # X7005A, 2 x 36GB 10K RPM disk drives C/D Floppy, part # X5242A; PGX Graphics, part # X3668A, Dual Power Supplies, part # X9684A, QFE X1034A. Mfr: Sun Microsystems. This requirement is for Small Business Set-Aside using the North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334111, with a small business standard size of 1000 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard.
