Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWPNS) seeks a qualified vendor to supply (1) a commercial shaker table for use with research and development, (2) installation support, and (3) operator/engineer training. NAWCWPNS currently supports a shaker table capable of vibrating component level screening; however, NAWCWPNS is interested in a table capable of a nominal-class load as well as a replacement for our component-class table. Nominal size, weight, and environmental data are available through the Nominal Vibration Profile and Drawing 639AS9403D provided at the following website: http://www.nawcwpns.navy.mil/~contract/rfp-nawc.htm. Environmental requirements are identical for either a component-class or nominal-class shaker table. A fully programmable controller is required. Slip table assemblies are desired to allow vibration in all three axes. Where possible, vendors should also present information on refurbished/remanufactured systems. Rough order of magnitude cost data is desired. NAWCWPNS has an available vibration isolation pad and 120V power; if other power, hydraulic, air, or cooling is necessary, those additional requirements should be noted. The FSC is 6635. NAWCWPNS intends to maximize small business participation in meeting its core requirements. =20 The primary focus of this notice is to identify interested sources for information and planning purposes only.
