Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, University and Woodland Avenues, Philadelphia, PA 19104, has a requirement for Iodine-125 radioactive seeds to be used for Brachytherapy. The Contractor shall provide on an "as needed/as requested" basis, radioactive seeds containing uniformly deposited Iodine-125 within +/-5% of requested activity. Upon notification of a delivery order, the contractor will be required to deliver loose seeds within 48 hours and pre-loaded needles within 5 days. All preloaded shipments will contain an autoradiograph and a shielded loose seed from the same lot as the seeds loaded in the needles. The contractor will be required to accept unused seeds for credit without any additional charges or restocking fees. The term of this contract is for one year from the date of award, with two (2) one year options.
