Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Fresenius USA, Inc. of Walnut Creek, California for the purchase of eight Fresenius 4008K System with Bicarb and SMS Option and Saline Drain Buckets, with Internal Blood Pressure Module, 10cc Heparing Pump, On Line Clearance and DiaSafe. Purchase will include trade-in cost, delivery and installation as required for the VA Hospital in Miami, Florida. The Government believes that the Fresenius 200K is the only Hemodialyis Unit which has a touch screen and online clearance monitoring. This notice is not a request for competitive quote however, responses received on or before noon on September 10, 2001 will be evaluated. Offerors responding to this notice must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer and at a minimum include equipment brochures, company literature, plus a list of at least three references from similar facilities who are currently using the suggested equipment.
