Description

The VA Maryland Health Care System, Perry Point, MD, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Acist Medical Systems of Eden Prairie, MN, for the purchase and installation of one ACIST Injection System Model No. CL100. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes however, responses received on or before noon on August 31, 2001 will be evaluated. Offerors responding to this notice must provide proof that they have the capability of providing the equipment specified. Information must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer and, at a minimum, include informational brochures for the same type of equipment. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the government. If no affirmative written response is received within 10 days from the publication of this synopsis, a contract may be negotiated with ACIST MEDICAL SYSTEMS without further notice.
