Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Precision Remotes, Inc., 1230 Brickyard Cove Road #104, Point Richmond, CA 94801 the requirement for a Telepresent Remotely Aimed Platforms (TRAP), and associated engineering support for evaluation by the USMC Warfighting Laboratory for weapons applications based on the need for force protection, embassy security, and Military Operations in Urban Terrain. This acquisition is for a one-time effort for the developing contractor to modify and demonstrate an existing proprietary technology utilizing the existing TRAP, and to provide associated engineering support for the USMC evaluation. The solicitation number is N00178-01-R-1051. Note 22 applies. The NSWCDD, Dahlgren Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area; therefore, synopses and resulting solicitations with any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/supply.
