Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. The Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida/33 MXS intends to solicit, negotiate and award a Firm Fixed Price contract for Fan Rotator Inspection Equipment. This acquisition is prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Sub-Part Part 12.6, Streamlined Acquisition Procedures for evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Acquisition of Commercial Items, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written request for quotation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this announcement is F08651-01-T-0066. The requirement is as follows: 2 each Fan Rotator Inspection Equipment, part # L163011 OTT-LPC-F100. Mfr: Olympus. This equipment is used to rotate F-100 jet engine fans for blade inspections. This is a full and open competition acquisition using the North American industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 333314, with a small business standard size of 500 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard.
