Description

Contractor to provide all tools equipment, material, and labor required to apply liquid siding to one masonry building at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Hampton, Virginia. Asbestos/lead abatement will be required when removing flaking paint. The liquid siding will be applied in order to encapsulate the remaining asbestos/lead. A technical proposal is required. Evaluation factors must be addressed. Award will not be based on lowest price. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS is 235210 with the size standard of $11.5 million. Requests for the solicitation package MUST be in writing and may be mailed to the Contracting Officer or faxed to 757-728-3132. Proposals are due in the Contracting Office by 4:00pm local time September 13, 2001.
