Description

Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, asbestos abatement, supplies and supervison for Project 526-01-101, Renovate 4C Clinics, at the VA Medical Center, Bronx, NY. Work includes, but is not limited to the following: This project is to renovate the 4C area to accommodate the Kidney Dialysis Unit and the Renal Clinic together in the one space. The work will include reconfiguring the current floor space as outlined on the drawings and in the specifications. Modifications will include removal of walls, ceilings flooring and plumbing fixtures. In addition modify HVAC System, Medical Gases, Lighting and Power Systems, Fire Sprinkler System, and relocate bathrooms. The work will also include installation of Emergency Life Support Power for the 4C area. Installation of power and utilities for new Reverse Osmosis Equipment. Installation of bed side utilities for each Dialysis treatment station. Installation of general-purpose lighting and power outlets. Installation of conduits for phone and data equipment. Providing finishes to the 4C area as outlined on the drawings and specifications. In addition, all work will be completed with no interruption to the current KDU and Renal Clinic as well as all adjourning Spaces. Completion time is 320 calendar days. Estimated construction cost is between $1 million and $5 million. Requests for solicitation packages must be in writing accompanied by a Nonrefundable certified check or money order for $75.00, made out to "Department of Veterans Affairs".
