Description

This procurement is open to both small and large business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 485991. The Government is seeking hired car services in providing special needs for veteran patients requiring passenger transportation (non-emergency medical) door to door service. Contractor shall be able to provide transportation service for unscheduled trips within one hour after notification. Service is on an as needed basis. All interested and qualified parties must submit a written response to J. E. Regan (04A1-H), Contracting Officer, VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, 7180 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15206-1297. No telephone request will be honored. All responsive and responsible offerors may submit a proposal which if timely received shall be considered by the agency. A pre-bid meeting will be held at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, 7180 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15206-1297 in Building #4, Room #373-E on Thursday, September 6, 2001 at exactly 10:00 a.m. Offers are due by COB on Thursday, September 20, 2001.
