Description

Naval Air Systems Command intends to procure approximately 5 new AN/URY-3A Relay Reporter Responders. The procurement will include an option to procure approximately 5 additional AN/URY-3A Relay Reporter Responders, technical data, repair services, and spare and repair parts for the AN/URY-3 Relay Reporter Responders, including the conversion of the previously manufactured units from 141 MHz to 433.1 MHz for the VACAPES, Fallon, Point Mugu, PMRF, and AUTEC ranges. The units will be acquired sole-source from L-3 Communications Telemetry East as a modification to contract number N00019-00-C-0403. L-3 is the sole manufacturer of the R3 assembly, and is the only firm possessing the requisite knowledge, specialized experience, and technical data to meet the Government's requirements.
