Description

The Dept. of Veterans Affairs, Austin Automation Center, anticipates award of a sole source commercial contract to NCR Government Systems Corp., Rockville, MD for continuation of hardware and software maintenance of a network of Comten front-end telecommunications processors. To the best knowledge of the VA, MCR is the sole authorized provider of these services. Responses to this notice must be in writing and must be received by noon (CST) on August 24, 2001. Third party firms will be considered only if responding with clear and convincing evidence that the firm has been granted rights by NCR to provide the services being procured. The determination to open competition based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published.
