Description

The Department of Justice, subject to availability of funds, intends to issue an award on a sole source basis to MVS Solutions, Inc., for mainframe software maintenance, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13, pursuant to 41 USC 253(c)(1) only one responsible source. Responses received as a result of this notice of intent, shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses will not be considered as either proposals or bids. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition, based upon the written responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The anticipated period of performance will be one year. Responses must be submitted to the address shown in Item 7 by COB 8/30/01. Compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, 1998 Amendments.
