- Description
- The U.S. Army, TACOM-ARDEC, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis to Southwest Research Institute of San Antonio, Texas for follow on effort to continue to investigate the use of ion implantation, ion beam assisted deposition or plasma deposition of chromium nitride, titanium nitride to improve the wear and corrosion resistance of DoD components. Sole source is based on follow-on and continuity of effort. See Note 22.
