Description

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for geochemical analyses of rock samples, sulfide and silicate samples, sediments, and leached samples. THE USGS ANTICIPATES AWARDING THE PURCHASE ORDER TO ACTIVATION LABS LTD; the analytical data must be done by various techniques, including inductively coupled plasma -- mass spectrometry (ICP_MS), using additional proprietary chemical techniques developed by ACT labs for leach analyses of rocks and minerals, and procedures for sample handling and preparation developed by ACT labs. Also, the is a continuation of a previous requirement and it is vital to USGS that we obtain consistent results, and for overall comparisons with data obtained in previous years, and in different but related environmental and metallogenic projects.. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY; no formal RFQ will be available. This award will be made on or about 29 August 2001, under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000,00. Any Vendors who can provide evidence they can meet the criteria above are invited to provide an affirmative response to this notice by faxing capability statement to the CO at 703-648-7901. All responses must be received in this office within 10 calendar days from the date this publication first appears. All responses must be in writing, no telephone requests will be accepted.
