Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, Rhode Island has a requirement for the following hardware for used for the Mk48 Mod 6 Torpedo: 1) Aft Hydraulic Manifold in accordance with NAVSEA Drawing 7052735, Quantity -- 6 each; 2) Aft Tailcone Shell in accordance with NAVSEA Drawing 7052746, Quantity -- 1 each; 3) Forward Afterbody Shell in accordance with NAVSEA Drawing 6935027, Quantity -- 8 each; 4) Aft Afterbody Shell in accordance with NAVSEA Drawing 6935028, Quantity -- 3 each; 5) Aft Drive Shaft Assembly in accordance with NAVSEA Drawing 6935032, Quantity -- 4 each. The NAVSEA Drawings will be provided electronically as Attachment #1 to the RFQ. If a contractor has not been previously qualified to manufacture these items, First Article Testing of all items will be required. This acquisition will be processed through full and open competition under the provisions of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Delivery will be FOB Destination, Newport, Rhode Island 14 weeks after date of contract award. NAICS Code is 332999, 500 employees.
