Description
See Notes 9 and 26. DESC: Vest, Conditioning, Microclimate, Air. NSN: 8415-01-217-5634. Specification: MIL-DTL-44132C dated 8/23/00. Quantity for basic ordering period is 1,500 each with two term 1 year options for the same quantity. Destinations: W25G1U -- Defense Distribution Depot -- New Cumberland, Pennsylvania and W62G2T -- Defense Distribution Depot -- San Joaquin, California. 12 deliveries will be required (to each destination) beginning 180 through 510 days after date of award. FOB Destination. Submission of a first article will be required. This will be a Best Value procurement in accordance with FAR 15.101-1, Trade-Off Process. Evaluation factors, other than cost or price, will be Experience/Past Performance and Manufacturing Plan. Copies of this solicitation will be made available on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.mil/ or http://12.3.216/home at time of solicitation issuance (which will be on or after 8/31/01). From the Gateway homepage, select "select RFP's" from the right hand sidebar. Then choose the RFP you wish to download. RFP's are in portable document format. In order to download and view these documents you will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. In addition, to receive E-Mail Notification of Solicitations you must register with the user profile feature of the Gateway. Specifications/patterns and/or other applicable documents can be obtained by contacting the contract specialist at 215-737-8165. Important: beginning on September 30, 2000, the Gateway E-Mail system will be the exclusive means of delivering solicitations and notifications to offerors for the Organizational Clothing and Individual CBU only. It is essential that all prospective offerors establish their user profile on the Procurement Gateway in order to ensure continued notification and receipt of solicitations.
