Description

17.DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATIONS:=20 Upgrade SUBASE Bangor Playground, to include removal and disposal of existing equipment, and design and installation of resilient surfacing and new playground equipment. Playground equipment includes Phase 1 for 5-9 year olds and Phase 2 for 8-12 year olds. Kompan BigToy Brand Name or Equal playground equipment includes, but is not limited to, vertical loop climber, triple slide, curved overhead ladder, slide pole, cargo net, access steps, bigwheel, playshell seats, vertical ladder, spiral slide, double mountain climb, firefighter's climber and push and pull. Delivery FOB Destination to: SUBASE Bangor, Silverdale, WA. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. The size standard is 500 employees for NAICS 421910. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed-price contract. Note 1 applies. Prospective offerors not CCR-registered should immediately begin the registration process. The solicitation will be posted to the NECO web site: www.neco.navy.mil under "Business Opportunities" and solicitation number "N00406-01-R-5237". The Government will NOT distribute hard-copy solicitations or amendments. The Government will not mail, fax, or e-mail the solicitation or any amendments thereto. Subsequent amendments, if any, will be transmitted solely via the NECO web site. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the NECO web site early and periodically for any solicitation amendments.
