Description

Solicitation N00421-01-Q-0520 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed contract on a sole source basis with C R International, Inc. 11850 Baltimore Ave., Suite G, Beltsville, Maryland 20705 for the part numbers listed below. This action is under the authority of FAR Part 6.3. The contract line item numbers and descriptions are: ** CLIN 0001, Quantity 12 each P/N 9819150R2, PCB Assy Interface Motherboard TDIS DS; CLIN 0002, Quantity 12 each P/N 9819151R2, PCB Assy Power Supply TDIS DS; CLIN 0003, Quantity 12 each P/N 9819152R2, PCB Assy Connector Interface TDIS DS; CLIN 0004, Quantity 96 each P/N 9819153, PCB Assy Radio Interface TDIS DS; CLIN 0005, Quantity 48 each P/N 9819154, PCB Assy Crew Station Interface TDIS DS; CLIN 0006, Quantity 12 each P/N 9819155, PCB Assy Processor TDIS DS;CLIN 0007, Quantity 72 each P/N 9819250R2, PCB Assy TDIS CS Main PCB for use with systems installed in boats, small ships, vehicle, and tactical operation shelters which provide the operators ability to communicate with each other electronically and to control multiple radio sets from several locations. . These Printed Circuit Board Assemblies are unique to the Tactical Digital Intercom System (TDIS) and available only through C R International, Inc., the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Award is expected 28 August 2001. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all quotes received by 24 August 2001 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
