Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to enter into negotiations with the sole source of supply, Bauer Compressors, Inc., Norfolk, VA. The NAWCAD intends to procure Reciprocating Compressor Units, P/N JRII-E1-3700, Quantity of twenty (20). The item is support equipment for use on the V-22 aircraft. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may or may not be used by the Government in determining whether or not to open this requirement to competition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals must be received within 15 days. Responses should reference N68335-01-Q-0052. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based on the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. (SEE Note 22).
