Description

Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to perform the following dredging work at Walter Slough, U. S. Coast Guard Station Oregon Inlet, Nags Head, NC. Major work items include: Dredge Walter Slough and the adjoining boat basin a depth of ?8.0 below mean low water with 1:3 sides slopes; Construct a sediment drainage area on disposal island by reconstructing dikes, providing silt fencing, weir boxes and sediment control. Upon drainage of spoils, completely smooth and grade spoils. Contractor shall pay all fees imposed by the Corps of Engineers for use of disposal site; Pump spoils directly to the disposal island. Assure piping is intact and complies with all State and Corps of Engineers standards. Grade and allow spoils to properly drain during and after all placement operations; Take before and after dredge soundings by a State of North Carolina licensed marine surveyor to determine the amount of dredge materials removed. Unit item included for overdepth dredging. This procurement is estimated between $500K and $1M. This procurement is open to large and small businesses in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The applicable SIC Code is 1629/NAICS 234990.
