Description

Work consists of removing and disposing of existing metal safety handrails, 153 sections, each section size: 68"x32", total length 870 LF. Fabricate, furnish and install new aluminum safety handrails 153 sections, each section size: 68"x32", total length 870LF. Partitions to be fabricated of aluminum (top and bottom plate 1/2 x 1 1/2" wide, pickets will be 3/4" square structural aluminum pipe welded to top and bottom. Stainless steel 2" x 2" x 1/8" angle bolted to post with 8" stainless steel bolt, flat washer and nut. Also remove and dispose of 870LF of pressure treated 2"x6" top hand rail and 2"x4" pressure treated stringer. Furnish and install 870LF of new #1 select pressure treated 2"X6" top handrail and 2"x4" pressure treated wood stringer. The top handrail to be routed round and smooth on the outside edges.
