Description

Atlantic Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Norfolk, VA 23511, ALLEGANY BALLISTICS LABORATORY, ALLIANT TECHSYSTEMS, ROCKET CENTER, WV. The project consists of an approximately 1,550 sf addition to existing Building 420. The work consists of miscellaneous site demolition, site utilities, miscellaneous earthwork and asphalt pavement patching, concrete spread and strip foundations, concrete masonry unit perimeter foundation walls, concrete slab on grade, structural steel superstructure, batt insulation with metal siding exterior walls, fully adhered EPDM membrane roof on polyisocyanurate insulation, personnel doors, fire protection system, steam unit heaters, electrical power and lighting, and incidental related work. Estimated cost is in the range of $100,000 to $250,000. Plans and specifications will be available on or about August 30, 2001. The bid opening date has not been set, but will be approximately October 1, 2001. Bonds will be required. West Virginia Contractors License must be submitted prior to commencement of work by Contractor and subcontractors. A Mandatory Pre-bid conference will be held.
